Amazing place to stay. Incredible view of the mountains in the morning and insane view of the stars at night. Got in very late, was easy to get into our room. Very quiet and peaceful. Rooms were charming and cozy. 10/10. Would stay again.

This place was simply lovely. A beautiful cottage style lodge with a perfect view of the mountains during sunset. The rooms were super nice and very clean. I really appreciated the snacks and electric tea kettle in the rooms. I used it every day for my tea. They have a full sized community fridge downstairs where you can keep your left overs and I myself, needed to store my breast milk so the freezer was a life saver!! Both the owners and the staff were more than accommodating and I truly appreciate the kindness and understanding they gave us. Thank you for a wonderful weekend in Westcliffe!
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Lamp Post Lodge! Westcliffe is one of our favorite places to visit from Denver and the Lamp Post Lodge gave us a beautiful, clean and comfortable suite in the perfect location near to Main Street Westcliffe. The views from the lodge are stunningly beautiful. We will definitely be back to the Lamp Post Lodge in the future!
Our room was really clean and well appointed. The internet was plenty fast. The process of getting the house and room codes was flawless. Nice bedding and very comfortable bed. The whole place is nice and very well kept. The bathroom was nicely stocked and spotless. The large room can sleep 4 people comfortably, and there was plenty of hot water the next morning. The quiet setting made for a great night's sleep and the temperature of the room (had its own thermostat) and house were fine. The price was reasonable and I'm not really sure what I would change, if I could, as the common areas of the house itself are spacious and well appointed inside and out.
We stayed there last week on a Sunday and Monday night. The Lodge is welcoming. Driving up and walking in felt like arriving at a friend or family member's house. The common area and the rooms were immaculately clean and well taken care of. Our room was cool and comfortable (it was 90 and sunny outside). Everything worked. No issues. The seating areas around the property were great for coffee in the morning and stargazing at night. Would stay again. Highly recommend.
I stayed during the weekdays before Christmas, 2023. My room was spacious, clean, and everything was setup very well. I had access to the main lobby, and since I was the only one staying there, I had great access to the refrigerator (for leftovers), freezer (ice chest) and the coffee makers for early morning departures. It was a very pleasant stay, and the deer outside the lodge were friendly to me, but tough on the trees. (I tried to download the photos or videos, but it didn't work).
The lodge is a great place to stay. The rooms are very roomy and comfortable. I requested an accessible room and it worked out great. They even had a shower chair for me to use. The common area is very nice, and the front porch is a great place to hang out. We had a couple of minor problems, but they were taken care of quickly.
